Okay, I perused Homeplus and found a nice scanner for about 100,000 Won. (Which is roughly about 95bucks.) Let me get my next paycheck and I'll buy that motherfucker. I'm really excited, I feel like my brain is starting to click and understand things about the human form. Drawing from my imagination is becoming not only easier, but quicker as well. I can fill out many more sketchbook pages in less time... essential for a comic artist!
Here is a highlight of what I drew this week... enjoy. Expect to see more of Demon Biker Girl, I like her.

Screaming with vengeance
I'm not dead, nor am I slacking off with my drawing (too much.) I admit I need to be more habitual with my updates - how about we make Sundays drawing update day?
I've had a bad month dealing with injuries, Korea, and personal issues. It's definitely taken a toll on my work ethic. But I've rekindled my efforts and I have made a return. I need to work more on creating light and form, and find a good scanner. Drawing has got to be one of the most grueling activities you can do. Some days I just want to throw my pad across the room and scream FUCK IT and quit. It's actually a very mathematical process, very left brain oriented. You have to rewire your brain to understand anatomy, proportions, and correct angles so your art doesn't look like pig vomit. And it's absolutely exhausting. I salute my artist friends who have stuck with this and improved their talents.
